Events
First Day of Classes
We had a huge turnout for our annual Family Pizza and Game Night; over half of our families were able to join us.
The fee for the event was a donation to the Food Pantry; our families went over and above one item per family.
Johnny Appleseed Day
We celebrate Johnny Appleseed in September.
The preschool morning was filled with activities that help the children learn about apples and the legend of Johnny Appleseed.
Taste testing three kinds of apples as well as other products made with apples. The children made art with apples, did apple math, read about apples, and ran around collecting apples.
We had such a good time!!
Pizza and Game Night
Our school year is off to a fantastic start.
The children are doing a wonderful job following their new routines.
They really enjoy getting to know each other and playing with new toys. Even the adults are having a good time as we all transition out of summer and into school.
Scarecrow Day
We had a wonderful time celebrating fall! We had story time, we sang and danced, and we created scarecrows for our garden.
Then we combined art and snack; we made a scarecrow with edible materials-YUM!
Halloween
Our Halloween Celebration was a howling good time for our students!
A Great Pumpkin thank you to our fabulous parent volunteers who prepped our projects, decorated our rooms, opened their vehicles for trunk or treating, and helped in the classrooms.
Thank you to the 8th graders that helped decorate on Wed. night and to our amazing teachers, they all helped to make a perfect event for the kids. The costume parade and trunk or treating was spooktacular even with the wind and rain we had this year.
The kids danced, played games, listened to stories, and made crafts. Everyone had a wonderful time; God is good to us
Thanksgiving Food Drive and Feast
We began the season of giving by helping with the parish Thanksgiving Food Drive. The children enjoyed helping collect the items and bring them to the collection bin. We had our Feast days right before Thanksgiving break. We read stories, played games, danced to the Turkey Hop, created crafts, and had a big meal together.
